Flowergirls

The tradition of a young girl proceeding the bride down the aisle is steeped in tradition, though what she has carried or tossed has varied through cultures and time.

Adding flowers to the ringbearer's pillow that coordinate with the wedding party is a nice detail to add.

• a traditional basket filled with petals, or as shown above autumn leaves
• a pomander
• a smaller version of the brides bouquet
• a tussy mussy
• a small wrist corsage
• a garland of vines and flowers, this is especially appropriate if you have two flowergirls that can carry it between them
